"Skipping" in Dialog Tree

Hi!
I was wondering if there is a way to “skip” to a certain node inside a Dialog Tree via code (I suppose it can be done manually using lots of Start Dialogs but that would be a little messy).

There is no way to “hard” skip to a certain node while the dialogue is already active right now, but you can set the dialogue tree “start” node to any different target node you want, before starting the dialogue tree. Here is an example code for doing that:

public void Skip(){ var controller = GetComponent<DialogueTreeController>(); //get the actual dialogue tree of the dialogue tree controller. var dialogueTree = controller.behaviour; //find a node you want. Probably the easiest way is to to tag the nodes and get them like bellow var node = dialogueTree.GetNodeWithTag<DTNode>("SomeTag"); if (node != null){ //set the found node if any to be the "start" node dialogueTree.primeNode = node; }   //start the dialogue tree controller.StartBehaviour(); }
