      If I were to make a sub tree and I set a variable in the root tree, would it propagate into the sub tree for use?

        Hey,

        Yes, all subtrees, nested trees, share the root blackboard variables.

        Also if you were to use that subtree in another root system, the variables in that root system will be used and the BBVariables within the sub system’s tasks will be re-hooked if available in the root system’s blackboard.
