May I suggest you to use a generic task instead? It’s more..”bullet proof” :). Here is an action:

public class SetPersonVariable<T> : ActionTask<Person>{   public BBParameter<string> TargetVariableName; public BBParameter<T> NewValue;   protected override void OnExecute(){ agent.LocalBlackboard.SetValue(TargetVariableName.value, NewValue.value); EndAction(); } }

The SetOtherBlackboardVariable will even change to use generics as well.
