Increasing the Playback Speed of a Mecanim animation does not increase its travel distance with Root Motion enabled in the Animator track. Can this be fixed in a future version?

I just checked this to confirm and it is working correctly here.
Changing the speed of an animator clip correctly makes the root motion account for it.
Do you by any chance increase the speed of the Animator Track, rather than the Clip’s one ?
What version of Unity / Slate is this on?
Please let me know.
