Closed top left window – how to reopen?

I closed the window in the top left of the canvas window, now I am unable to find a way to reopen it. I have pressed all the buttons on the top menu items (file, edit, etc), but cannot find anything suitable.

I have even cleared by local changes, but I am still not seeing the correct window.

I am convinced that the answer is going to be really obvious, but I just cannot see it!

Solved I fixed the problem by commenting out logic in GraphEditor.Panels.cs, that used Prefs.useExternalInspector and its return statement. I do not require any further assistance.

Hello there,

If the “inline” node inspector in the Graph Editor is invisible, that means that the “external” node inspector is open. Maybe you had the external inspector window somewhere docked? As soon as the External Inspector window is closed, the Internal one will show up again 🙂
