      This may be a Mac OS issue only. Hitting the ‘delete’ key with a node selected triggers the OS’s system error sound, although the node deletes successfully. It only occurs when using the keyboard shortcut (eg right-click/Delete is fine)

      It gets quite irritating hearing the sound constantly!

        That sounds bad (pun intended) 🙂
        This is not the first time I’ve been reported mac OS specific GUI problem :/
        I will have to investigate this problem.
