Disable audio when scrubbing timeline

Is there a way to do this?

I cannot find a reference to it in the documentation.

Hello Cas,

There is no option to disable the audio explicitly only while scrubbing, but you can of course disable the Audio Track itself temporarily if it gets annoying for example.

I think I could though add an option for this even though it’s the first time this has been asked 🙂 Most people enjoy to have the audio scrubbing feature 🙂

Hello again,

I’ve looked into this a little and I can add such an option to disable audio preview in editor, but with that option enabled the audio will not be heard both when scrubbing as well as when “playing” the cutscene in the editor. Of course everything will be heard in play mode.
Would that work for you? If not, I could dig a bit deeper into separating explicit scrubbing VS actually playing in the editor.
