[Feature Request] Identity node for variables

Having a similar node to Identity node for variables would be very good for cleaner graphs and better organisation.

Hello there,

There is already and identity node for data (it is called “Identity (T)” ) and it works similar to the Identity node for flow. Simply add “Identity (T)” node and then select the type you want the ports to be via the right click context menu of the node -> “Change Generic Type”, or simply by connecting the port you want (it will autodetect the type of the port connected).

Please let me know if that is indeed the kind of node you are asking for, or if I misunderstood your question 🙂
