Feature Suggestion: Split Cutscene

We’ve been working on a relatively large project for VR, and we’ve hit upon an issue where, due to a script change, we’d like to take an existing cutscene and break it into two parts, so we can add an interlude in another scene in between. We’d rather not create a new cutscene and manually copy all of the elements from all of the tracks.

Is this a feature that could be implemented in a future version of Slate?

Sorry for the late reply!
Indeed creating a new cutscene and copy/pasting elements for this case is definitely not ideal, so your request does makes sense 🙂
This is a rather big feature to implement though, but I will take a look at this and see how it could be done properly once some other higher priority things are out of the way.

If this is a real problem for you right now, I can take a look at providing a bit of a dirty editor script for doing what you want so you can continue working on your project.
