If I’m copying around FS Controller/FSM Owner components, sometimes the blackboard reference gets lost and it’s impossible to relink without putting on a fresh FS/FSM component, could an “auto-link to the blackboard script on the same object” button be considered?

        Hello again 🙂

It is true that if you copy/paste the FC Controller/FSM Owner component, the referenced blackboard remains the one that originally was referenced (this is typically how Unity works). However due to this reason, in recent NC/FC versions, the Blackboard is an exposed field on the FSController/FSMOwner component and as such you can for example assign any Blackboard Component you want. In your case for example, you can simply drag & drop the Blackboard that exists on the same gameobject into the “Blackboard” object field to link it.

Please let me know if that works for you! 🙂
