The documentation is great; but really, i can’t figure out where/how to start.

Can you PLEEEAAAAAAAAAASE make a small video on how to ‘get started’ ? Like having a simple Camera switch and Actor move ?
I think that would help also a LOT of people. SLATE is the ONLY asset that doesn’t have a video tutorial …

      Many thanks in advance !

        Hello Cem,

Yes, I will make a getting started tutorial very soon. Just wanted to nail down some solid updates first. Meanwhile, doing camera cuts is as simple as creating a Camera Shot clip in the Camera Track through the right-click context menu and clicking “Create New Shot”. Then just putting many Camera Shot Clips in order will switch from one shot to another.

Thanks for your patience, and until the quickstart is live, please feel free to ask any questions.

i watched the Korean guys tutorial, though i dont speak Korean, and I can create a camera shot, I want to add keyframes to move the camera over time. The position information in the inspector says, “parameter is not yet animated. you can make it so by creating the first keyframe”, with no instructions how to do so. Please give me a clue 🙂

            Hey,

To make a parameter animated, you simply need to hit the “KEY” button 🙂
From there on, the parameter will automatically be keyframed whenever you change it’s value.

Let me know if that works for you.
            Cheers!
