it appears that the HDRI Sky does not appear in the Camera Shot background. Is this by design or have I missed something?

Hmm. What is your setup for the HDRI Sky? I’ve just tested this in Unity 2017.3 using a Sky material with “Skybox/Panoramic” shader (and HDRI image) and looks to work fine on my end. Can you please clarify your setup?
