Mouse wheel zooming and panning?

I noticed that when I move the mouse wheel the background moves around a bit, so was just wondering is there some on-going work with zooming and panning in the node editor windows? as I often work on a small laptop (its quite powerful though) and it would be nice to be able to zoom out a bit and pan around, as currently if my trees get a bit big I find it a pain to have to manually scroll around. (Although I just want to mention if trees get TOO big it is probably a sign of too much going on in the behaviour.)

So any plans, if not no worries I am sure you have enough on your plate.

Hey,

Well, panning can be done as normal with middle mouse click or since you are on a laptop and you may work with touchpad with no middle click, panning can also be done with ‘SHIFT + Click & Drag’.

As for zooming it’s in the TODO but not in the top of the list 🙂
It will be there some time eventually.
