      Hi.
      I’m a brand new user. I just tried to record an mp4 sequence on OSX and I get a missing Dll exception. There appears to be a Dll there, and it should work in the Editor apparently.

      Is this a Windows only option?

          Hello,
          Unfortunately the MP4 only works in Windows, but even so, MP4 and GIF, will be removed in the next version because they do not provide a good rendering quality (they were only really meant for draft preview). I’d really like to recommend that you please use the PNG rendering format if possible for you, since PNG rendering format is the more stable and provides the best quality results.

            Hi,
            I just tried this and I really need the sound to record as well. Looks like I will have to build a standalone and use an external too.
