      Hi there,

I am having problems when using the “SwitchString” Node.
The problem appears only when the Switch string is used in a flowscript State from the FSM

      See screenshots attached.

To reproduce the problem, please create the simple “Hello World” flow scripts from the screenshots…

1 flow script as bound will be called on enable
1 other flow script is an asset that is a nested flow script state from FSM

thanks in advance for your support!

        Hey!

So, I created an FSM with a FlowScript State then assigned an asset flowscript similar to the one in the image, but it is working fine here without any problems. Now of course there is clearly some issue going on here, it is just that I can’t replicate it. Sorry :/ Can you please provide more detailed information of your setup, just in case I did something differently?

        Thanks.

          Hi there,

here is the unity package were I reproduced the issue. I used a copy of the Character Point & Click Scene from the FSM examples.

please just run it, click on any place and the issue appears in the console

thanks again for your support !

              Hello,

Yes, I just found the bug in the node and have attached for you here a package with the fixed node file.
Let me know if that works for you.
              Thanks!
